Background: Not much is known about Usiku or his family. All that is known is that: he was born without a last name; he was taken away by seven bats at a young age; and these seven bats have been his caregivers ever since. The bats took him to a forest where no one would know where he was. Though some people may hate the idea of being in the middle of the forest with no supplies, Usiku actually got used to it for a while. He managed to find an abandoned, small, and dark cottage to live in, the only thing he'd ask of the bats is to bring him books to read and food to eat. With the help of a stranger, Usiku managed to find his uncle, aunt, and brother/cousin who lived in Crescent City, LA, USA. Years later, his brother/cousin decided to take him to Malaiki City, CA where Usiku finds his soulmate, Delilah. Delilah and he decide to live in Forestopolis where they decide to have a family and finally relax in one spot. Usiku is pretty cold-hearted and apathetic at times. He has even done some things he won't tell, but it's Delilah and their daughter, Rose, who warms his heart the most and makes him the calm soul he is now. He's always either reading a book, sleeping, or giving Delilah his love. Oh and his bats? Well, they're more important to him than he likes to show, but only his family and Delilah know the true reason why. Although his life has been rough, seeing Rose blossom into a wonderful being is all that he needs to know that the tough part is over… until his old friend, Amethyst, comes around and forces him into a situation he was hoping he’d never be in again.
