Appearance: They are very much like humans in appearance except they are hairier; when the full moon is out, their eye colors change to either yellow or red with slit pupils, their body fully transforms into an animal(wolf, cat, rabbit, etc.), and they are much bigger than an average human; In their transformation, they usually stand on two feet, but they will most likely run on four

Origin:  Uyamas are one of the rarest species to find. How they came around is a mystery. Every time the moon is up, no matter what phase it’s in, Uyamas’ power and speed amplifies; however, the full moon is the most important phase because when it comes around, they are forced to transform into anthropomorphic mammals. Yes, unlike other mythical beings, they don’t have control over when they can/want to transform, and when they do transform, it’s very painful. They can take medications that can help make the experience less painful, but it’ll still be uncomfortable. Even when they transform, they can still be either peaceful, buckwild, or somewhere in between. They don't feast on humans, but will kill if they are threatened(or just want to). Day time hours can be difficult for an Uyama since their animalistic ways can still be present(appetite, behavior, etc.) That's why a lot of them go into sports so that they can feel more comfortable with their immense strength and speed. They could shave if they want, but the hair will only come back after a day or two; it's rare for an Uyama to stay smooth until it's time for them to transform again.

Special Powers:  Uyamas are born with extreme strength, speed, and flexibility. Their healing abilities are also impressive, and it collabs well with their Adrenaline Rush(an ability that numbs up their bodies so that they can continue attacking without the pain getting in the way). The full moon is what really gives Uyamas that boost they need; it’s even better if they’re bathed in the moon’s light. They are not born with magical powers so they will have to either drink potions or go through extreme training to gain them.
